Carey Gilbert graduated from the University of Alabama in 1976 with a degree in Real Estate & Finance. In 1980, he joined J. H. Berry Realty, spearheaded the acquisition of Molton Realty Development Company in 1986, and became President of the combined company, J. H. Berry & Gilbert, Inc. in 1989. He has led the company into the corporate services arena by developing relationships with Birmingham based companies.
