Bill Gunn closed multiple sales in the month of
September. Representing Dogwood Properties, LLC, Gunn sold a 16-unit
apartment complex located at 1316 33rd Street South to Abaco Partners,
LLC. Gunn brokered the sale of 11.14 unimproved acres located off County
Road 490 in Hanceville. Gunn also represented Exito, LLC, in the sale of
property at 516 27th Street South in Birmingham to Impact Electric,
Inc., an electrical contracting company.
Philip
Currie and Bill Gunn signed a new lease for
landlord, Village Renaissance, LLC, to DIYPC, Inc. d/b/a Cigars and
More.
Christopher Thames and Philip
Currie signed a lease renewal, increasing the office space of
Homewood Plaza tenant, The McMinn Clinic, to 5000 square feet. The
McMinn Clinic offers integrative medicine and wellness services.
Christopher Thames negotiated a lease
amendment for Ash Associates to Weiser Security for office space at the
Ash Place Office Building, located at 2100 16th Street South.
Matthew Day and Philip
Currie negotiated a new 3800 square foot lease at 200 Cahaba Park
Circle for Cahaba Park, LLC to tenant, Analytic Focus, LLC. Analytic
Focus is a multi-office firm that specializes in analytical expertise,
expert witnessing and consulting..

September 2011:
JH Berry & Gilbert, Inc. Inks Sales and Leases in the Birmingham Area
Matthew Day, CCIM, and Bill Gunn,
SIOR, CCIM, of J.H. Berry & Gilbert, Inc. represented Hopkins
Properties, LLC., in the $3.6 million sale of a 12-acre site purchased
by the City of Tuscaloosa. The property is located at 7150 Commerce
Drive in Tuscaloosa and includes a 121,000-square foot warehouse
facility.
Matthew Day and Bill Gunn
recently negotiated a 12,817 square-foot lease of office and warehouse
space located at 100 Cahaba Valley Parkway West for landlord, The
Sherrod Company. The tenant, Dynamic Tower Services, Inc. is a Louisiana
company that specializes in communication line and transmission tower
construction.
Bill Gunn represented Georgia-based Ole’ Mexican
Foods, Inc., in the lease of a 4,400 square feet distribution center
located at 900 Powder Plant Road in Bessemer. Ole’ Mexican Foods, Inc.
is one of the largest tortilla makers in United States.
Bill Gunn also brokered the sale of a 4,000
square-foot lease located at 2310 5th Avenue South for seller, MPBR
Enterprises, LLC. Albert Tinsley represented the buyer, Tomorrow’s
Investments Today, LLC, in this transaction.
Philip
Currie and Bill Gunn facilitated a new lease
for landlord, Village Renaissance, LLC., at 2913 Cahaba Road to Thompson
Architecture, Inc.
Philip
Currie closed a new lease for the landlord of The Park Building at
Magnolia Office Park to financial planner, Wealth Designs, LLC. LAH
represented the tenant in this transaction.
Christopher Thames and Philip
Currie signed a 3,800 square-foot lease for Dean Park, LLC, to
tenant, Dr. Brian A. Foley, for office space at 868 North Dean Road in
Auburn.
Edwin Moss represented the seller of The
Hillside Apartments, in the sale of this 24-unit complex located in
Southside.

Over 67,000 Square Feet of Sales and Leases in the Birmingham Area
Matthew Day and Bill Gunn
represented Higdon Paper and Packaging, Inc., in the new lease of 20,000
square feet of office and warehouse space located at 165 Valleydale
Business Center in Pelham. Higdon Paper & Packaging, Inc., is a
full-line packaging and janitorial supply distributor and has been in
business in the Birmingham market for over 15 years. Stuart Brock of EGS
Commercial Realty represented the landlord in this transaction.
Matthew Day and Bill Gunn
also brokered the sale of a 35,000 square foot office warehouse building
located at 530 Elm Street in Helena. Jack Key with J.Key Properties
represented the seller.
Bill Gunn facilitated a 3,200
square foot lease at 2717 2nd Avenue South to Clark Interiors &
Antiques, LLC for landlord, Phoenix, LLC.
Matthew Day worked with Archer Exteriors, a
national roofing and home improvement contractor, in the lease of space
at 230 Oxmoor Circle. Tom Casey represented landlord, Oxmoor LLC, in a
separate lease at 230 Oxmoor Circle to Nick Daviston Insulation.
John Hardin and Bill Gunn
recently negotiated a lease for landlord, Terracon & Associates, to
Sunbelt Insulation Company.
Philip
Currie and Christopher Thames negotiated a
lease expansion for Highland Avenue Realty, to Burke, Harvey &
Frankowski, LLC, located at 2151 Highland Avenue. Currie and Thames also
facilitated leases for landlord, Quadrant Properties, with tenants,
Berry Law Firm and Peoples Bank. Currie was involved in other recent
transactions including leases at the 402 Building and 174 Oxmoor as well
the lease of space at 2015 Stonegate Trail to Pittman Insurance Agency.

Brookside, LLC and Office Park Partners, LLC.
Bill Gunn negotiated a 9,500
square foot lease renewal at 2221 3rd Avenue South.
Gunn also represented the landlord in a 5,000 square foot lease at 4371
Crescent Road to Vulcan Athletics, LLC. Sam Carroll with Graham &
Company represented the tenant in this transaction.

Completed Several Sales in the Birmingham Area
Bill Gunn represented Bama
Seafood, Inc. in the lease of 9,600 square feet at 195 Vulcan Road in
Homewood, the former Culinard School location. Harold Shader of Shader
Realty represented the landlord in this transaction.
Merchant Properties, LLC, was represented by Gunn in
the 6,250-square-foot lease to Star Harvest Solar, LLC. Rich Vanchina
with Southpace Properties represented the tenant.
Gunn was also involved in several other leases
including the representation of Brookside, LLC, in the renewal of 4,650
square feet to Connect Point Community Church at 3701 Pine Lane in
Bessemer as well as a new lease with K&B Quality Masonry, Inc. at 3689
Pine Lane. Gunn represented CATS II, in a new lease to Jude, LLC, at
9201 Parkway East, the former Krystal Hamburger location.
Philip Currie and
Christopher Thames represented Highland Avenue
Realty, Inc., in the renewal of over 4,700 square feet at One Highland
Place to Infusion Partners, LLC. Currie and Thames also represented
Quadrant Properties, LLC, in a lease renewal with Allen & Associates
Realty, Inc.
Currie was recently involved in several other
transactions including the representation of Oxmoor Holdings in a new
lease at 516 Scott Street to The Pennington Group, the representation of
Homewood Plaza in a new lease to Fry Behavioral Health and the

Inc.
