March 2012: J.H. Berry & Gilbert Closes Over 14,000 Square Feet of Sales and Leasing Deals J.H. Berry & Gilbert, Inc., a leading commercial real estate firm in Birmingham for over 100 years, recently completed three transactions for more than 14,000 sq. ft. of industrial and office space in the Birmingham area. J.H. Berry & Gilbert brokers Matthew Day and John Hardin negotiated the sale of the 11,400 sq. ft. office and warehouse building located at 107 Citation Court in Homewood on behalf of National Construction Products, LLC. Jack’s Family Restaurants, Inc. will now occupy the building. William Gunn also facilitated a lease for 1,540 sq. ft. at 230 Oxmoor Circle, Suite 1108, to Precision Door Service for landlord. Christopher Thames brokered a lease for 1,458 sq. ft. of office space at the Ash Place Building, located at 2100 16th Ave. S., to be occupied by the U.S. Army. "These recent transactions are evidence that the commercial market continues to improve," said J.H. Berry & Gilbert President Philip Currie. "We are optimistic that this growth trend will continue as the year progresses."
